Shell Bridge, Foster City
Painted in 1981, originally as part of a set of Foster City paintings created for the FC Chamber of Commerce, Shell Bridge has become Luz' trademark painting locally.  Many Foster City residents own one of the limited edition prints and they can be seen in commercial areas of Foster City as well.  For example, one of these prints hung for years along with its partner, "The Island, Foster City" in the Foster City post office.  The Islands" is still featured at the post office.  Both the limited edition print and the original oil painting can be seen at the gal"lery.  Luz has the rare artist proofs of this image hanging in the gallery.

Memories of San Francisco

Probably Luz' most famous painting (the original oil has been sold).

The limited edition prints of this image have been acquired by art collectors throughout the world.  Luz has the rare Artist Proofs of "Memories of San Francisco" for sale in her gallery.  Her idea was to paint San Francisco in the manner she would best remember the city if she were to leave the area.  This is her most endearing memory:  San Francisco at dusk viewed from Sausalito.  SF is waking up while Sausalito is going to bed. Fortunately, she has remained in the Bay Area to delight us with her lovely paintings.

There are still some of the Artist Proofs available priced at $950 each unframed.

Alcatraz Island, San Francisco Bay

A completely unique view of the San Francisco Bay landmark.  On a bright sparkling day the solemnity of the history of the island is juxtaposed against a backdrop of one of the world's most beautiful panaramas.  Oil painting on canvas.
