The incredible array of colors of the sail boats on a lazy weekend afternoon! Our Central Lagoon with the trademark condos and mountain range in the background is a one of the most treasured views of Foster City! This scene harkens back to a time when taller masted sail boats were omnipresent on the lagoons.
The "Red Sail" edition is strictly limited to only 25 pieces plus 3 Artist Proofs with dimenstions 24" x 30"; each numbered 1/25 through 25/25 and A/P 1/3 through A/P 3/3. Each print is hand-signed by Luz.
Pre-publication price is only $850 unframed for the 24" x 30" print and $495 for the 16" x 20".

Luz is delighted to announce the release of several beautiful limited edition prints that have been created from oil paintings she completed for her exhibition: A Tale of Two Cities . Two of the images she has selected feature sail boats on Foster City's Central Lagoon at Ryan Park. The third is a fabulous work of a blue residential door-front on Venice's Grand Canal. This is a painting that she completed in memory of a trip to Venice. So enamoured was she with the incredible scenery that she was moved to attempt to capture the spirit of Venice in a painting. All three of these limited editions capture the joy of waterfront living; either in Foster City or Venice. You can see numerous other paintings of both Foster City and Venice at the above link for her current exhibit.
Luz has worked closely with an expert printer in the bay area to translate the beauty of these paintings into stunning prints on canvas. The printing exquisitely captures the full power and color of each painting.
Framing can be arranged as well. Standard framing is priced at $300; deluxe framing $400. Otherwise, the artwork will be delivered stretched on stretcher bars ready for framing.

"Pumpkin Patch"
The painting was done of a patch of pumpkins at Pastorino's pumpkin patch at Half Moon Bay. Of course, this is a traditional trek for thousands of Bay Area families each year to find the "perfect pumpkin" for the young (and old) of the family. Luz has made the journey every year for thirty-five years, first with her children and now with her grandchildren.
So now, she's made limited edition prints available of her painting to decorate your home each Halloween season. You can begin a new tradition by displaying your pumpkin print each year as your kids grow. Perhaps it will become an heirloom over time!?
